Moss Care & Application Guide

Environment: Deep Shade

Moss Types:

  • Sheet Moss (Hypnum imponens)
  • Fern Moss (Thuidium delicatulum)

Instructions:

  1. Open the package carefully.
  2. Lightly moisten the moss using distilled water only and a spray bottle. (Do not overwater.)
  3. Moss performs best in deep shade conditions.
  4. For best results, you may use our Moss Tac to adhere the moss to your chosen surface (optional).

Environment: Can Handle Light

Moss Types:

  • Star Moss (Tortula ruralis)
  • Pin Cushion Moss (Leucobryum glaucum)
  • Mood Moss (Dicranum scoparium)
  • Spoon-Leaved Moss (Bryoandersonia illecebra)

Environment: 50/50 — Partial Light and Shade

Moss Type:

  • Miniature Trees

Instructions:

  1. Open the package carefully.
  2. Lightly moisten the moss using distilled water only and a spray bottle. (Do not overwater.)
  3. This moss can tolerate approximately 50/50 light and shade exposure.
  4. Plant directly in soil for best results.

Moss Type: Milkshake Cushion Moss

Instructions:

  1. Open the package and sow over existing soil.
  2. Lightly moisten using distilled water only and a spray bottle.
  3. This moss can handle light conditions.
  4. Allow 3–6 months for full growth and establishment.

Moss Type: Shady Moss Milkshake

Instructions:

  1. Open the package and sow over existing soil.
  2. Lightly moisten using distilled water only and a spray bottle.
  3. Performs best in shady areas.

Instructions:

  1. Open the package and mix the desired amount with a minimal amount of water until a pasty consistency is achieved.
  2. Spread the mixture over the desired area.
  3. Gently press and apply moss to the surface for secure adhesion.
